You are invited to attend a Seminar for the Australian National University Major Equipment Grant funding round for 2010.
Major Equipment Grants:
The ANU Major Equipment Committee (MEC), via the Research Office, invites proposals from academic staff for the purchase of large equipment for research purposes, including equipment supporting health and medical research.
All ANU academic staff are eligible to apply for ANU ME Grants.
Proposals for funding will be considered for equipment costing more than $50,000.
Funding is for use in 2010.
ME Grant applications can include:
Proposals for purchasing or building new equipment.
Proposals for replacing obsolete equipment.
Proposals for computing equipment which is a necessary part of an innovative research project.
Proposals for equipment supporting health and medical research.
Proposals for special library collections.*
Seminar:
The Research Office is hosting a Seminar as an opportunity for prospective applicants to seek additional information regarding the scheme and the application process.
Prospective applicants will be addressed by and be able to ask questions of the Chair of the Major Equipment Committee and successful MEC applicants from previous years.
