Honours in Australian Higher Education
16 October, 2009 By Centre for Educational Development and Academic Methods

This site is a product of The Role of Honours in contemporary Australian Higher Education project. The project was funded by ALTC and executed by ANU, The University of Newcastle, The University of Queensland, and The University of Technology Sydney.

The study was initiated due to the shifting direction of Honours. In the past ten to fifteen years, Australian universities and discipline clusters have been reviewing the direction of Honours, and in many cases revising their practices.

The site provides useful information for academic staff, graduate students and industry groups.

Read about:
• Multiple meanings and models of Honours

• Pivotal role of Honours
