AIYD 2013 will bring together 30 delegates (18–35 years of age), 15 each from Australia and India. AIYD 2013 will also bring together Australian and Indian leaders in government, private industries and the NGO sector to lead the discussions and interact with the delegates.
Delegates will be selected through a rigorous process under the oversight of our Board of Advisors through which:
10 delegates from both countries (20 in total) will be selected through a head-hunting process; and
5 delegates from both countries (10 in total) will be selected through an application process.
During the AIYD conference, influential speakers will present their perspective on issues that affect the Australia India relationship, and participants will have the opportunity to engage with these speakers on a face-to-face basis.
Participants will also be encouraged to discuss possible outcomes to concerns that exist in Australia and India – and it is intended that these outcomes will be delivered to the Australian and Indian Governments, as well as relevant government bodies, including the Australia India Council.
Applications close on September 28th, 2012 at 11:30 pm (AEST).
