The ACYD selects 15 Australian and 15 Chinese delegates aged 18-35 to participate in an intensive, five-day curriculum designed to challenge their existing conceptions on important issues facing Australia and China.

The ACYD agenda covers China's economic reforms and rebalancing, government innovation, arts in contemporary China, sports, science, energy the environment and climate change, cooperation between government and civil society and the rule of law.

The 2012 ACYD will be held from 19-24 October in Beijing and Chengdu
