Dr Linda Yueh's interests are in law and economics, as applied to economic growth and development, with a particular interest in China and the effects of international economic law on development. Yueh has degrees from Yale University, Harvard, a Doctorate in Laws from New York University and a DPhil in Economics from Oxford University.
She has served as a special advisor for the World Economic Forum in Davos and has recently been appointed to the newly established World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Energy Security. She serves as an advisor on scenarios for the UK economy and society to 2030 for the UK Government's Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS). She is a frequent media commentator, including for the BBC, CNBC, CNN, ITN and The Guardian.
